General Summary

Discuss, Design, Configure & implement various business processes across ESA and also maintain Material Management and Warehouse Management. Provide continuous support to Maintain and improve utilization of Business Applications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities(Contd)

Training and Development:

  • Provide training for SCM department for all feature exist on the system.
  • Training to End users; Prepare and update user training material.
  • Manage the knowledge transfer plan and 1st level and 2nd level user support

 

Procedural Stability:

  • Continues review of all solutions implemented.

Enhancement and improvement:

  • Assist and process enhancement whenever required.

 

Implementation and Execution:

  • Manage roles and authorization
  • Control the migration of data and integration
  • Manage system upgrades
  • Analyzing and Modelling Reports and dashboards

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide necessary support for system upgrades / system conversions
  • Work with Business Application Manager in implementing IT Strategy for the organization.
  • Interacting with Business users, understanding the needs to implement & integrate new tools and technologies to streamline the business processes. Also to configure and customize the business application systems as per the needs.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME), responsible to support the SCM Department users and its end users in day to day issues.
  • Monitoring, maintaining and continual improvement of SCM business functions by adapting and delivering the industry best practices & Process innovations.
  • Extending the SAP Procurement, Logistics, Material Management & Warehouse Management functionalities by integrating with Cloud based platforms & E-sourcing modules.
  • To device, develop, test and integrate the in-house developed applications through cost effective methods and deliver innovative solution to meet the business expectations.
  • To address the issues related to the organization changes by configuring and routing the reporting structure in compliance with DOA.
  • Extensive support to all levels of business end users i.e. from end user to top management in terms system usage issues, reporting, data extraction and interpretation.
  • To ensure the appropriate roles and authorization to the end users as per audit compliance and System monitoring.
  • Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) to support Internal/External Audit and to address the audit observations.

Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)

Bacheloer in Engineering

Any preferred professional training

SAP Certification in Materials Management, Warehouse Management preferably with S/4 HANA

SAP Certified Ariba Professional

 

Professional Experience (Must haves)

10+ years Experience in SAP out of that minimum 2 years in a procurement department for a large organization.

 

Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations

Minimum 2 end to end implementations of MM & WM preferably with S/4 HANA.

5 years of SAP support in MM & WM in large organization preferably in Manufacturing sector & in middle east.

3 years functional experience in Procurement.

Deliver projects within agreed timelines

Rollout SAP to new Business area

High SAP system availability as per departmental standards

Document all the changes/updates in SAP landscape through Solution manager

System upgrade Plan and execution as per departmental objectives/ standards.

Deliver month end and year end activities with agreed timelines

Periodic review and update of user authorizations as per company standards
