Our Culture
At Emirates Steel, our employees are the embodiment and personification of what defines our values.

  • Emiratization

In line with the vision of the Abu Dhabi and the UAE government, Emirates Steel works to increase the number of skillsets and capabilities of its Emirati employees. In doing so, we aim to help grow the future leadership for one of the active contributors in the non-oil sector. We offer scholarship opportunities and have several internal programmes and trainings, designed to work for our Emirati talents. Through participating in these tailored initiatives, we are confident that young UAE nationals can enhance their steel industry skillsets and build their leadership for the future.

  • Employee Reward and Recognition

To expand the knowledge base of our employees across all business units and levels, our diverse Rewards and Recognition Schemes helps us encourage self-improvement while ensuring career development and bettering our sustained organisational growth. Our different tools and platforms, as well as criteria and processes of recognition for significant contributions to the company’s efforts, drive employee motivation and foster a culture of excellence

  • Career Growth

As we recognise that our people are our strongest asset, we take special interest in their career development. We work relentlessly to nurture human talent across the organisation through offering all employees continuous learning and upskilling, leading, industry-grade corporate and technical trainings, as well as individualised and group programmes designed to ensure career growth – all the while strengthening our reputation as an employer of choice in the industry.

  • Positive Work Environment

We take our commitment to enabling a happy work-environment very seriously. To deliver on that promise, our Happiness Committee is tasked to boost employee morale by creating engagement opportunities and programmes in line with best practices for employee satisfaction. Adhering to our corporate values, the committee is also responsible for measuring employee satisfaction by conducting periodic surveys and preparing recommendations and reports.
